Innovative appoints new CEO
After 23 years as CEO of Innovative, Jens Middelbo Outzen has decided to focus on further development of customer and business relations in international markets. Harald Rønning thus takes over the responsibility for the entire group as new CEO.
Innovative is in rapid development focusing on expanding globally. In 2017, significant investments were made to build sales organisations in Norway and Sweden, as well as to further develop our solutions to satisfy the demands of an increasing customer group.
This role change is therefore being implemented to make the most of Jens Middelbo’s longstanding experience with international sales, as well as Harald Rønnings’s long-standing experience of successful establishment and management of Nordic companies. In addition to focusing on international business development, Jens will also use his long-standing experience at Innovative to support Harald as much as possible through close and trusting collaboration.
Jens Middelbo Outzen, Director of International Business Development, explains: “Harald Rønning brings decades of experience from management of Nordic companies in the security industry to Innovative. Harald has been employed as CEO of Innovative Norway since 2017. Previously, he was one of the founders of the Safetel Group, where he was CEO for more than 15 years. Harald has been working in the security industry since the early 80’s. Furthermore, he gained experience as Senior Account Manager in the telecommunication industry in Norway during his employment at Telenor, where he was responsible for some of the largest customers. In addition to Harald’s many experiences from his previous work, I have achieved a very close and trusty collaboration with him over the past year, and I am sure I leave the overall responsibility for Innovative in good hands. I am looking forward to this change and to spending more time with our customers and partners, thereby contributing to our continued growth”.
Harald Rønning, CEO, states: “Through my previous work as CEO in Safetel, I became acquainted with Innovative as an exciting and innovative company with a strong market position in an interesting niche in the Danish security industry and I saw a potential for achieving the same strong position throughout the Nordic countries and beyond Europe. After a year in the company, I have a strong believe in Innovative’s future, and I look forward to contributing to further growth and development”.
